I created this card for a challenge that a group of us gals decided to do once a month among ourselves. We met on StampTV and call ourselves the Roses. The group consists of Betty, Connie, Kerrie, Olga, Sue and myself. Sue brought to us the February challenge to make a thank you card for Gina K and her staff for starting the StampTV site and everything they do. Not only have we learned so many techniques but have developed such wonderful friendships. The month of March is my challenge. The challenge I bring to the Roses is March-ing with the Troops – to create a Thinking of You card and send to my son, Travis, who is deployed at this time in Afghanistan. I can’t wait to see what they all come up with.
Stamps: A Year of Flowers from Gina K Designs (Colored flowers with Prisma color pencils and OMS, cut each flower out, sprayed each with Opal Spray Glitter and glue dot each flower).
Card Stock: Solids and prints (My Mind’s Eye – Playful Posies).
Punches: Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Border punch, Martha Stewart Branch punch and EK Success Leaves punch.
Embellishments: Yellow Dew Drops, Moss Green Swiss Dots grosgrain ribbon from Really Reasonable Ribbon and gold embossed Thank You sentiment.
