Cards For Men Blog Hop

Circle_cards4Men

Welcome to Cards For Men Blog Hop showcasing some stunning and spectacular Christmas themed cards/presents created by the awesome and talented Design Team.  Now if you have arrived from Kitty’s blog you are in the correct spot. If not, I would hate for you to miss anything so please start at the Cards For Men blog.

It’s hard to believe it's been a year of challenges over at Cards for Men. A huge “Thank You” needs to be given to Donna for having an awesome blog challenge and fabulous Design Team!  To celebrate we have lots going on with tons of prizes to be given away. There will be two challenges this time with the theme being “Christmas”.  This will run from December 6th – December 19th, at midnight.    The first challenge is to create a card or the second challenge is to create a present for that special man/boy in your life.  You may participate in both challenges.  A random winner will be drawn for each challenge and also the Top 3 chosen.

Here is my card and gift that I’ve created – Christmas Bingo Game and Card:

Also, we are having an Anniversary Blog Hop with many sponsors. You can get the full list of sponsors over at Cards for Men.  Mine is Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps that offers many stunning images.  If you haven’t already stop by Prairie Fairy, please do so, you will not regret it.

Prairie FairySponsor Blurb:  Hello! I am Roberta from Prairie Fairy Designs. I am a new digital stamp company featuring artwork not only created by me but also my two kids, ages 9 and 12. They are featured on the site as the Fairy Princess and the Prairie Prince.
I have been an artist for as long as I can remember and have always loved to create. Two years ago my sister-in-law invited me to a rubber stamp party. I laughed and said "Maybe I will buy something if I can use it to stamp on canvases.". Needless to say, I was hooked! Two years later and a lot of learning about computers, I have finally accomplished my goal.

While digital stamping is relatively new in the papercrafting scene, it is what I believe to be such an amazing tool. Printed images have such clarity and vibrancy and gone is the need to re stamp an image because you didn't press hard enough or maybe you pressed too hard! They are also a lot easier to store and they can be reprinted over and over again. The fact that you can rotate and flip files, print them off the size of a postage stamp or as large as a scrapbook page makes them such a versatile medium. It is my sincere hope that I can help anyone who has hesitations about using digital images to embrace these amazing creative tools. If you have any questions about going digital, check out the site and the blog for more information. So head on over to http://www.prairiefairydesigns.com/ and check it out!

Prize:  5 Digis from Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps.

For a chance to win this wonderful prize from Prairie Fairy Digital Stamps you just need to leave a comment at the end of this post. A random winner will be drawn on December 20th.  Each stop will also have a word which you will need to collect to make a festive phrase. My word is 'WE'.  At the end of the blog hop you should have collected 11 words.  Leave the festive phrase in the comments section at Cards for Men for another chance to win a fabulous prize.  A random winner will also be drawn on December 20th.   Your next stop is Mandy’s blog

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Good luck to everyone who participates!  Hope everyone has a wonderful Christmas and Joyous New Year with their family and friends!

Best Wishes

Best Wishes Wedding Card I created this card for a wedding my daughter was attending.  It turned out to be more detailed then I originally thought I would do.  Since I decided to do a step card I then realized this would be perfect to include an arbor.  Course, I’ve never done one before.  Once I started adding all the paper roses, leaves, branches and pearls, the arbor became very heavy.  I had to place a toothpick in the middle just to hold the arbor up straight and re-enforce the bottom of the step card.

Image:  Wedding Decoupage by Monica’s 3D Sheets.

Sentiment:  Best Wishes sentiment by Birds Cards.

Card:  Centre Side Stepper Card by Card Making Downloads.

Card Stocks:  Blue and Greens (TAC) and prints (DCWV-The Garden Party).
