Anniversary Card for Connie & Rick (Sister-in-law & her husband)


I made this card for my Sister-in-Law, Connie and her husband, Rick for their anniversary. I also posted this card on SplitCoastStampers for Gina K Sketch Challenge - GKJUNTM. I colored the image with color pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. I used three pattern card stocks and three solid card stocks (lt. purple, purple and green) from The Angel CompanyTM. I punched the green pattern card stock with Martha Stewarts Doily Lace border punch. I sewed a straight stitch around the two purple pattern card stocks. I embellished the card with pearls on the floral heart wreath, pearls in the corners, dabbed Color Box Wisteria Fluid Chalk Ink around the edges and a purple eyelet ribbon.

44th Anniversary Card for My Parents


I made this card for my parents for their 44th anniversary. I also posted this card on SplitCoastStampers for Gina K Color Challenge - GKJUNLM (pink & brown). I colored the image with color pencils and Odorless Mineral Spirits. I used pink and brown card stock from The Angel CompanyTM. I embossed the pink card stock with Cuttlebug Stylized Flowers Embossing Folder. I punched the brown card stock with Fiskars Heritage corner punch and Fiskars Lace border punch. I cut out a piece of brown card stock with Spellbinders Nestabilities Deckles Die-Cuts. I embellished the card with pearls, dabbed Memento Angel Pink Ink around the edges and a pink/brown floral ribbon.

Thank You Card from the Twins (Mitchell & Logan)


My daughter, Karissa asked me to make a Thank You card from the Twins (Mitchell and Logan) to her Aunt Beth and Uncle Mike in New Jersey for their wonderful package they sent for the boys. The stamp I used is called Peek A Boo from The Angel CompanyTM. I colored the image with chalks and chalk enhancer. I used blue, green and white card stock from The Angel CompanyTM and the polka and striped card stock from Michael's. I punched out the green card stock with Fiskars Threading Water punch and added light blue bling blings. I embellished the card with light blue bling blings in the bottom corners and a blue and white polka dot grosgrain ribbon. The words Thank You is from The Angel CompanyTM. I punched out a onsie with EK Success punch and added mini light blue bling blings and dabbed Versa Magic Tea Leaves Chalk Ink around the edges and Memento Summer Sky Dye Ink around the edges of the sentiment.

Scub A Dub Dub


I made this card for StampTV's Color Challenge STVCC18 - Bubblegum Pink and Aqua Blue. The stamp I used is House Mouse Scrub a Dub Dub. I colored the image with chalks and chalk enhancer and then put Crystal Lacquer on the water and bubbles. I cut the image out using Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Deckled Rectangles Die-Cuts and dabbed Memento Summer Sky Dye Ink around the edges. I used pinks and aqua blue card stock from The Angel CompanyTM and the pattern card stocks from Basic Grey - Euphoria. I embellished the cards with aqua blue bling blings and a pink with aqua blue polka dots grosgrain ribbon.

Birdhouse


I made this card for StampTV's Technique Challenge STVTC18 - Embossing Only With Nestabilities. The stamp is from D.O.T.S. called Double Birdhouse. I colored the birdhouse with chalks and chalk enhancer. Embossed around the image with Spellbinders Nestabilities Circles and Scalloped Circles Die-Cuts. I used a dark brown and white card stock from The Angel CompanyTM. I embellished the card with three red mini brads and a multi colored grosgrain ribbon.

Basket of Hibiscus - Happy Birthday


The hibiscus flowers are from a set called Flowers and Holly by The Angel CompanyTM. I colored the flowers with chalks and chalk enhancer. The basket was weaved together with tan card stock from The Angel CompanyTM. The greens, cream, pink and yellow card stock is also from The Angel CompanyTM and the pattern card stock is from
K & C Company. I punched out the leaves and branches with Martha Stewart punches, used Spellbinders Nestabilities Labels Four Die-Cuts on the cream card stock and then embossed it with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. I embellished the card with pink pearls and a pink gingham ribbon. The words Happy Birthday is from The Angel CompanyTM.

Take Care


I posted this card on StampTV's Sketch Challenge STVSC17. The sunflower stamp is from a set called Flowers and Holly by The Angel CompanyTM. I colored the flower with chalks and enhancer and used Black Fun Flock in the center of the sunflower. I cut the image out with Spellbinders Scallop Ovals and the yellow with Ovals Die-Cuts. I dabbed around the flower with Versa Magic Spanish Olive Chalk Ink. I chose three patterns of card stock from the Basic Grey collection and yellow and green from The Angel CompanyTM. I punched the border of the green pattern card stock with Lazy Days of Summer border punch by Fiskars. I embellished the card with tiny black pearls, olive green bling blings and a pale yellow offray ribbon. The words "take care" is from a set called Feel Better by The Angel CompanyTM.

Feel Better


The stamp I used to make this card is called Floral Bushel by Debbie Mumm. I colored the image for the first time with chalks and chalk enhancer. It was a little more difficult than using color pencils. But, I really like the outcome of the image. I used three different pattern card stock (2 were from Basic Grey) and green, yellow and white solid card stock from The Angel CompanyTM. The green, yellow and white were cut out from Spellbinders Scallop Circles and Circles Die-Cuts. On the white circle I dabbed Versa Magic Spanish Olive Chalk Ink. On the yellow polka dot card stock I punched out the border edge with Lazy Days of Summer by Fiskars. I embellished the card with tiny olive green bling blings, six yellow bling blings in the corners and a yellow offray ribbon. The words "feel better" is from a set called Feel Better by The Angel CompanyTM.

Father's Day Card for Great-Grandpa



Karissa asked me to make a card for my Dad for Father's Day to be from her three boys (Aiden-2 1/2 yrs., Mitchell and Logan-3mo.). I posted this card to StampTV Sketch Challenge STVSC16. I used the helm and sentiment from the set Guiding Light from Gina K Designs. I colored the helm with gel pens and added silver stickies. I chose two pattern card stock from K & C Company and green, turquoise, cream and a gray solid card stock. I used Spellbinders Circle Die-Cuts. The words Great, Grandpa and Happy Father's Day! are from sets from The Angel CompanyTM. An eyelet was used to put the two cards together.

Floral Bling Bling


I love this sketch so much that I had to make another card for StampTV's Sketch Challenge STVSC16. The stamp is from a set called Fresh Air Favorites from The Angel CompanyTM. I used Versa Magic Chalk Ink - Aloe Vera on the leaves, Memento Dye Ink - Angel Pink on the flower petals, Versa Magic Chalk Ink - Aspen Mist around the edges of the circle, Ultra Fine Pink glitter on the flower petals and Diamond Glitter in the center of the flower. The circles were cut out with Spellbinders Scalloped Circles and Circles Die-Cuts and the small and larger flowers from EK Success. The four floral pattern card stocks are from Basic Grey - Euphoria and the solids (green, blue, pink and purple) are from The Angel CompanyTM. I embellished the card with small pink sticky bling blings around the scallop, one purple and one green sticky bling bling in the center of the punched flowers and blue offray ribbon.

Call Me - Miss You Card for Travis


I made this card for my son, Travis who is a US Marine stationed in California. I also posted this card on StampTV's Sketch Challenge STVSC16. I used Spellbinders Scalloped Circles and Circles and Marvy 1" and 1 1/2" circle punches. The two pattern card stock is Basic Grey - Granola and the four solids are dark brown, brown, blue and ivory from The Angel CompanyTM. The stamped image is from Gina K Designs Thinking of You by Rupa Shevde. I colored the telephone with color pencils and grey and black gel markers. The words Call Me! and Miss You... are also from the same set Thinking of You.

Feel Better Soon - Twisted Thursday #14 Sketch Challenge


I created this card for three different reasons. The first was for my mother-in-law who hasn't been feeling well lately and loves lighthouses, second was for StampTV's Technique Challenge STVTC17 - Polished Stone and third was for Twisted Thursday Sketch Challenge S2GSC14 & shirleys2girls. I first did a polish stone technique using Adirondack Alcohol Inks (Cranberry, Eggplant, Lettuce and Gold) dabbing the colors individually on a piece of glossy card stock. Then I stamped my image (a lighthouse from a set called Guiding Light from Gina K Designs). I embossed the image and then took bleach and painted it over the lighthouse. I chose three different pattern card stocks and black solid card stock. I used Fiskars Threading Water punch on the purple card stock and Fiskars Seagull corner punch on the black card stock. I embellished the card with black tiny sticky pearls on the side of the threading water punch, two black larger sticky pearls, four purple mini brads and purple offray ribbon.

Gerbera Daisy Card


I created this card for StampTV's Technique Challenge STVTC17 - Polished Stone. I first did a polish stone technique using Adirondack Alcohol Inks (Ginger, Caramel, Latte and Gold) dabbing the colors individually on a piece of glossy card stock. Then I stamped my image (a gerbera daisy from The Angel CompanyTM). I embossed the image and then took bleach and painted it over the daisy. Once completed I used Spellbinders Oval and Scalloped Ovals Die-Cuts. I chose three pattern card stocks, black and brown card stock. I punched out the brown pattern card stock with Fiskars Lace border punch and punched out two butterflies with Martha Stewart punch. I embellished the card with two sizes of black sticky pearls on the corners, black tiny sticky pearls in the center of the butterflies, Ultra Fine Black and Yellow glitter on the butterflies and black eyelet ribbon.

Father's Day Card


I created this card for my daughter, Karissa to give to her Dad for Father's Day and StampTV's Technique Challenge STVTC17 - Polished Stone. Then I stamped my image (a lighthouse and birds from a set called Guiding Light by Gina K Designs). I embossed the image and then took bleach and painted it over the lighthouse and birds. I then used turquoise and black solid card stock. I embellished the card with a turquoise offray ribbon, stamped Dad on the ribbon and used Ultra Fine Black glitter to highlight Dad.

Patriotic Wrap


I made this card for Paper Craft Planet - Saturday Sketch Challenge - SK060609. The stamp is House Mouse Patriotic Wrap. I colored the image with color pencils, added crystal lacquer on the mouse's noses and Ultra Fine Snow glittered the stars on the flag and white stripes. The blue stars and red and white stripes card stock is digital paper from Gina K Designs that I cut out into a star shaped card. I embellished the card with Spellbinders Scallop Circles Die-Cuts and blue sticky bling blings.

Red Poppies - StampTV Color Challenge STVCC16


I created this card with another one of my floral images for StampTV's Color Challenge STVCC16 - Red and Chocolate. I colored the image with color pencils and added Black Fun Flock to the center of the poppies. I cut the image out with Nestabilities Circle Die-Cuts and placed it on Nestabilities Scallop Circle Die-Cuts. I then used Brick Red Versa Magic Chalk ink around the outside of the circle. I choose four pattern card stocks along with red and brown solid card stocks and stitched around the edges. I punched the tan pattern card stock with Lazy Days of Summer punch from Fiskars and added tiny red sticky bling blings in the center of the flowers. I added a tan satin ribbon.

Birthday Card for Best Friend, Helen!


I created this card for my best friend, Helen for her birthday and also posted it on StampTV's Potluck Friday Challenge STVPf16 - Quilting. I cut out 1/2" x 1/2" squares out of five print card stocks and used purple and green solid card stock. After piecing the quilt together, I zigged-zagged each line and added purple mini brads to look like buttons and added a purple offray ribbon. I then used an oval scallop and oval from Spellbinders Die-cuts and stamped the image from GinaK Designs - Thinking of You by Rupa Shevde. On the tan card stock I inked around the edges with Purple Hydrangea Versa Magic Chalk ink. I used color pencils on the image and added three different sizes of sticky pearls. The words Happy Birthday! Friend is from The Angel CompanyTM. I added two sticky pearls on each side of the words Friend.

Hats Off To You!


I had two purposes for making this card. The first was for StampTV's sketch challenge and the second was for Paper Craft Planet Colour Challenge #21. I used GinaK Designs stamp set called Thinking of You by Rupa Shevde. I colored the image with color pencils, added three tiny sticky pearls to the hats and glittered the flowers on the hat and hat boxes with Ultra Fine Snow Glitter. I choose three pattern card stocks and three solids (Turquoise Blue, Pinky Red and Pastel Green). I punched out the blue with Lazy Days of Summer edge punch and two circles with Marvy Scallop and circle punch. The card was embellished with two blue mini brads, two dark pink mini brads, one green mini brad and green offray ribbon.

4th of July Card


For this card I used House Mouse Glorious Feeling stamp. I colored the image with color pencils and glittered the stars on the flag with Ultra Fine Snow Glitter. I used red and blue solid card stock and used three different patterns of digital card stock. The card was embellished with two blue brads and two red brads. The words Happy 4th of July! is from a set called Trendy Greetings from The Angel CompanyTM.

Bouquet of Flowers


I made this card for Paper Craft Planet Color Challenge 20 (colors - artichoke, certainly celery, saffron and white). I colored the image with color pencils and used diamond glitter on the centers of the pink flowers and Black and Tan Fun Flock on the centers of the yellow flowers. I chose four different prints and two solid card stocks. I sewed around the edges of each print card stock. I embellished the card with a green butterfly brad, three green sticky gems in the centers of the saffron flowers, punched out three flowers with Fiskars Flower punch, punched out two green leaves with Martha Stewart punch, punched out a piece of green card stock with Martha Stewart Doily Lace and green eyelet ribbon.

Heart Bouquet


This card was made for StampTV Red & Blue Color Challenge STVCC15. I colored the image with color pencils and used Ultra Fine Blue, Brown, Yellow and Snow Glitter to embellish the flowers. I also used five tiny sticky pearls on the red flowers. I choose four different pattern card stock from K & C Company and three solid card stock (red, blue and tan) from The Angel CompanyTM. I embellished the card with four large sticky pearls, punched out a butterfly with Martha Stewart Punch (placed three medium sticky pearls on the butterfly), two flowers from The Angel CompanyTM, two red brads, three green leaves punched out using EK Success Punch, the corners of the blue print card stock punched out using Fiskars Heritage Corner Punch and beige ribbon with a strand of sticky pearls.
