Thinking of you.


I made this card for Gina K's release party sketch challenge - GKDAUGTM. The stamp is from Delafield Stamp Company. I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and OMS, used Black Fun Flock in the center of the sunflowers and Diamond Stickles in the center of the orange flowers. The solid card stock - orange, yellow and dark brown is from TAC and the printed card stock is K & C Company - Wild Saffron. I used Nestabilities Circles, Scallop Circles, Ovals and Scallop Ovals Die-Cuts to cut out the image and tag. The polka dot card stock was punched out with Fiskars Sunburst Border Punch. I embellished the card with yellow twill ribbon and yellow rhinestones. The words Thinking of you. is from TAC. I sponged around the words with Memento Potter's Clay Ink.

A Little Something For You



I made this card using MOJO Monday Sketch Blog - MOJO97. The stamp is from a set called Something For You by TAC. I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and OMS and added mini half pearls to the center of the flowers. I used Nestabilities Ovals and Scallop Ovals Die-Cuts to cut the image out. The red-orange and dark gray card stocks are from TAC and the two printed are from K & C Company. On the gray strip of card stock I embossed it with Cuttlebug With Love Embossing Folder and added half pearls. The gray corner was cut out with Sizzix Architectural Accent #4. The words A Little Something For You is from a set called Something For You by TAC. I used Nestabilities Ovals and Scallop Ovals Die-Cuts to cut the words out. I added two large half pearls to the side of the card.

From My Heart


I made this card for Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge 16. The stamp is from a set called Something For You by TAC. I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and OMS. I used Nestabilities Ovals and Scallop Ovals Die-Cuts to cut out the image. The orange, green and gray card stock is from TAC and the four printed card stocks are from K & C Company. The striped card stock was punched with Martha Stewart Floral Lace Border Punch. I embellished the card with five orange mini brads, two light orange flowers, two cream flowers, six green leaves punched out with Martha Stewart Leaf Punch and mini half pearls. The words From My Heart is from a set called Something For You by TAC. I used Nestabilities Scallop Ovals Die-Cuts to cut the words out and sponged the tag with Memento Desert Sand Ink.

FrostyFred - You Give Me Chills!


I made this card using MOJO Monday Turns 100 Sketch Blog - MOJOJANETTE and a digital image named FrostyFred from Sunshine's Stamps that can be purchased from http://sunshinesstamps.blogspot.com/ I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and OMS. The eyes and mouth were crystal lacquered. I cut the image out using Nestabilities Deckled Rectangles. The medium brown and dark brown card stock is from TAC and the two printed is from K & C Company. I used Martha Stewart Cornice Border Punch on the dark brown card stock and Cuttlebug Ornamental Die-Cuts on the corner scallop. The card was embellished with brown mini and medium rhinestones, oval rhinestones and a dark brown grosgrain ribbon knot. The words You Give Me Chills was done on the computer.

StinkySteve - I'm Stinking of You!


I made this card using a digital image named StinkySteve from Sunshine's Stamps at http://sunshinesstamps.blogspot.com/ I colored the image with Prisma color pencils and OMS. I crystal lacquered the eyes, mouth, headlights, parking lights and top lights. The layout I choose is from MOJO Monday Turns 100 Sketch Blog - MOJOSARAH. I used Nestabilities Circles Die-Cut to cut out the image and placed on a Nestabilities Scallop Circles Die-Cut. The green and gray card stock is from TAC and the three printed card stock is from K & C Company. I embellished the card with light gray satin ribbon and bow. The words I'm Stinking of You! was done on the computer.

HayseedHank with Mater & Lightning McQueen - Birthday Card for Aiden


I made this card for my grandson, Aiden's 3rd Birthday to be from my parents. The digital image, HayseedHank is from Sunshine's Stamps and can be purchased from http://sunshinesstamps.blogspot.com/
Mater and Lightning McQueen were digital images I received from SplitCoastStampers.
I colored all the images with Prisma color pencils and OMS. I crystal lacquered their eyes, mouth, lights, and windows. I then cut them out and placed them on the card stock with 3D foam squares. I sponged the back ground sky with Memento Summer Blue, Angel Pink Dye Inks and Versa Magic Night Sky Chalk Ink. The moon was sponged with Versa Magic Straw Chalk Ink. The grass background was sponged with Memento Rich Cocoa and Desert Sand Die Inks and Versa Magic Tea Leaves and Key Lime Chalk Inks. I then took Prisma color pencils to draw the grass. I used blue, green and brown card stock from TAC. I cut out the number 3 from one of Aiden's books that I traced from. I embellished the card with 6 blue mini brads. The words Tractor Trippin' is Fu-unnn! was done on the computer. The words HAPPY birthday is a set from TAC.

BarneyBus - Birthday Wishes


I made this card for my friend, Helen's son, Dylan, for his birthday. The image I used is a digital image called BarneyBus from Sunshine's Stamps - he can be purchased from http://sunshinesstamps.blogspot.com
I colored him with Prisma color pencils and OMS and crystal lacquered the eyes, mouth, headlights, school bus lights and windows. The layout I used is for MOJO Monday Turns 100 Sketch Blog - MOJOMARIA. The solid card stock (yellow and black is from TAC) and the three printed card stock is from K & C Company - Wild Saffron. I used Marvy Rounded Corner Punch on the yellow solid and print card stock and Fiskars Threading Water Border Punch on the blue polka dot card stock. I embellished the card with a black grosgrain ribbon and knot. The words Sending You a Bus Load of Birthday Wishes was done on the computer.

Birthday Card for Travis


I made this card for my son, Travis for his birthday, who I have mentioned before that he is a US Marine stationed in California. I designed this card for Delightful Sketches #5 (sketch challenge) and StampTV's Color Challenge - STVCC26 - Black, Green and White. The digital image is called Officer Oakley from Digital Delights by Louby Loo. I colored the image with Prismas color pencils and OMS. He was cut out and placed on green and black card stock with 3D foam squares. I used Nestabilities Ovals and Labels Four die-cuts to cut out the green and black card stock. The black, green and brown card stock is from TAC, the brown print is K & C Company - Marines, the cream print is K & C Company - Ancestry.com and the green print is K & C Company - Wild Saffron. I embellished the card with black half pearls, green rhinestones, green grosgrain ribbon and black eyelet ribbon. The words Happy Birthday is from TAC.

HockerDocker Helicopter - Get Well Card - MOJO100


I made this card for my best friend's son, Dylan who broke his leg in football practice this week. I also did this card for Monday's MOJO100 Sketch, Paper Cutz Challenge #5 and StampTV's Color Challenge - STVCC26 - Black, Green and White. I colored the image with Prismas and OMS, crystal lacquered the eyes, nose, mouth and windows and cut out the image and placed on the card stock with 3D foam squares. I used black and gray card stock from TAC, the green from Michael's Crafts and the printed from Paper Wishes. The black card stock was cut out with Nestabilities Speckled Rectangles Die-Cuts and the gray was cut out with Nestabilities Scallop Circles. I embossed the black and green with Cuttlebug D'vine Swirls Embossing Folder. I embellished the card with a large gray button that was from my grandmother's button jar and used green embroidery yarn to sew it on. The words Dropping You a Get Well Wish! was done on the computer.

StanleySteamer - Card for Aiden's 3rd Birthday

The number 3 was traced from one of Aiden's books, cut out and placed on the card with 3D foam squares. I embellished the card with Happy Birthday ribbon from the Dollar Tree store. The inside of the card will say Chugging Along to Wish You a Happy Birthday!

BurnieToaster - You Make Me Feel All Warm & Toasty!

I made this card for Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge - MMSC15 that Sunshine's Stamps is a bonus host for this week. I colored the image with Prismas and OMS and crystal lacquered the toaster's eyes and mouth, both toast's eyes and mouths and jam jar. The image was cut out and placed on purple and gray card stock from TAC with 3D foam squares. I used Nestabilities Ovals and Scallop Ovals Die-Cuts on the purple and gray card stock. The purple oval and large gray rectangular card stock was embossed with Cuttlebug Swiss Dots Embossing Folder. I weaved the black eyelet ribbon thru the printed card stock after using a McGill 1/4" Ribbon Stitch Punch. The words You Make Me Feel All Warm & Toasty! was done on the computer.

Thanks a Bunch


This is the second card my daughter-in-law asked me to make for her mom. I also designed this card for Midnight Madness Sketch Challenge - MMSC14, this is the first time I entered their sketch challenge. The stamp I used is called Watercan Roses from TAC. I colored the image with Prismas and OMS. The red and gray solid card stock is from TAC and the printed card stock is from K & C Company - Life's Journey. I used Martha Stewart Arch Lattice Border punch on the red card stock. I embellished the card with red rhinestones, red sheer ribbon bow, gray satin ribbon and three butterflies that I embossed with black detail embossing powder and bleached parts of the wings. They were then placed on 3D foam squares. The words Thanks a Bunch is also from Watercan Roses.

Happy Birthday


My daughter-in-law, Mercedes has asked me to make 2 cards for her mom, a Happy Birthday and a Thank You card. So, I have made a birthday card first and used the layout from StampTV's Sketch Challenge - STVSC25. The flowers are from Gina K Designs - Electric Summer - I colored them with Prismas and OMS and then were cut out so I could bend the petals up. I stamped the butterflies (from Warm Wishes - TAC) on yellow card stock and the leaves (Nothing is Better - TAC) on lime green card stock and cut them out individually. The trellis was made using Cuttlebug Floral Borders Die-Cuts on tan card stock and glued onto medium peach card stock. The border and corner were made using Fiskars Sunburst Border punch on light peach card stock. I sewed the flowers on using 3 tan buttons, that were from my grandma's jar of buttons, with dark peach DMC embroidery floss. Glued the leaves around the flowers and positioned the butterflies with 3D foam squares. I embellished the card with yellow and brown rhinestones (on the butterflies, in the corner and on the sentiment tag) and a lime green floral silk ribbon bow. The words Happy Birthday is from a set called Everyday Expressions by TAC. The card stock used is from TAC also.

I colored Moby with Prismas and OMS and crystal lacquered his eyes and mouth. I cut the image out and place him on aqua and green card stock (from TAC) with 3D foam circles. The two print card stocks are from K & C Company - Sea Glass and the off-white and light aqua card stocks are from TAC. I embellished the card with blue and green rhinestones. I cut the image out and used 3D foam circles to place on blue and red card stock (from TAC) that were cut out with Spellbinders Nestabilities Circles and Scallop Circles. The two print card stocks are from K & C Company - Sea Glass and the cream card stock is from TAC. I embellished the card with blue sheer ribbon bow, blue rhinestones, itty bitty flower from TAC and punched out two flowers with EK Success small daisy and medium daisy punch. The words Hey Big Buoy! were done on the computer.

I colored this image with Prismas and OMS and crystal lacquered her eyes and mouth. I cut her out and place her on ocean print card stock with 3D foam squares. I embossed the turquoise card stock with Cuttlebug Bubbles Embossing Folder and added a piece of purple card stock behind the print. I embellished the card with blue and purple rhinestones and stamped sea shells on the bottom with blue and purple ink. I then glittered them with Ultra Fine Snow glitter. The words Sea ya down under, Mate! was done on the computer.

Warmest Wishes


When I orginally started this card I was creating it for StampTV's Color Challenge. But, as I started to put it together my layout was beginning to be similiar to StampTV's Sketch Challenge - STVSC24. So, this card is for the sketch challenge. The stamp I choose is one from Electric Summer by Gina K Designs. I colored the image with Prismas and OMS. I used Spellbinders Nestabilities Circles and Scallop Circles Die-Cuts (the image, light peach, medium peach and dark brown card stock from TAC). I embossed the medium peach card stock with Cuttlebug Bloom Dots Embossing Folder, the light peach with Cuttlebug With Love Embossing Borders and the light peach corners with Cuttlebug Vintage Dies. I embellished the card with sticky half pearls on the flowers, embossed flowers, corners and around sentiment and peach eyelet ribbon. The words Warmest Wishes is a discontinued set called Everyday Expressions from TAC.

I made this card for StampTV's Color Challenge - STVCC24 using peach, ivory and pink (optional) as colors. The stamp I used is Arranged With Love by Melanie Muenchinger from Gina K Designs. I colored the image with Prismas and OMS and flocked the center on the pink flowers with black fun flock. The butterflies are from a discontinued set called Pansies from TAC. I embossed the butterflies with black detail embossing powder on dark peach card stock and used bleach on certain areas of the wings. They were then cut out and placed on a 3D foam square. I placed the image on black, dark peach and ivory card stock from TAC. I embellished the card with yellow stick rhinestones and an ivory ofray ribbon bow. The words Happy Birthday is from a set called Trendy Greetings from TAC.

Warm Wishes


I made this card for StampTV's Potluck Friday Challenge - STVPF24 using sunflowers with bleach. The sunflower stamp I used is from a set called Flowers and Holly from TAC. I embossed them on dark peach card stock with clear detail embossing powder, painted the petals with bleach and flocked the centers with black fun flock. The leaves are from a discontinued set called Nothing is Better from TAC and was done the same as the sunflowers except for embossed on green card stock. The butterflies are from a discontinued set called Warm Wishes from TAC and was embossed on medium peach card stock. The ivory card stock was scorred to resemble a trellis, the brown was cut with Spellbinders Nestabilities Large Deckled Rectangles. The corners were embossed with Cuttlebug Vintage Die-Cuts and embellished with brown rhinestones. The print card stock is a free digital paper download from Gina K Designs called Sunlit Summer. The solid card stocks (ivory, brown, medium and dark peach) are from TAC. The card was embellished was a yellow and green ofray plaid ribbon bow. The words Warm Wishes are from a discontinued set called Warm Wishes from TAC.

I embossed the red card stock with Cuttlebug Heart Blocks Embossing Folder. The card was embellished with red, black and white plaid ribbon from Michael's Crafts store. I also used gray card stock from TAC and red pattern card stock from K & C Company. I used Martha Stewart border punch on the red. The card was then embellished with two red brads.
