289888Well it’s time once again for the Roses last Sunday of the month challenge.  This month was for me to choose a challenge for the Roses to create.  I thought it would be fun to do any type of Iris Folding on their card/project.  I had never tried this before.  Boy was this fun to do.  If you get the opportunity, stop by the other Roses (Betty, Connie, Kerrie, Mary Anne, Olga and Sue) to see what they have created.  Their blogs are listed on my column on the right side.

Stamp Sentiments:  “Spider Web” from Studio G and “Happy Halloween” from Imaginisce.

Digital Papers:  Prints from Bearly Mine Designs, Digital Delights and Amuse Studio.

Iris Folding Pattern:  “Halloween Witch Hat” from Craftsuprint.

Punches:  MS Spider Web PATP, MS Arch Lattice, MS Branch, EK Success Scalloped Scallop and Punch Bunch Small Birch Leaf.

CHALLENGE WRITE UP HEADER

Good morning, everyone!  I’ve got exciting news – I’ve been chosen to be on Craft Us Crazy design team.  I am truly honored and ecstatic!  So, welcome to Craft Us Crazy Challenge #27.  This week’s challenge is Halloween and/or Anything Goes with a fabulous sponsor, The Cutting Cafe.  The challenge will run from Thursday, September 27th till Wednesday, October 10th.  Hope you’ll be able to join us for a chance to win a wonderful challenge prize offered by The Cutting Cafe.

THE CUTTING CAFE SPONSOR LOGO

THE CUTTING CAFÉ … OWNER REGINA EASTER (lovely lovely lady!!!)  If you haven’t checked out her store, please do!! She’s got a range of printable stamps and files for those with cutting machines. But the great thing about Regina’s files are that they also come with PDF files so you can cut them by hand.

Winner will receive THREE Sets from The Cutting Café of their choice.

This card was created using a few different techniques that I have never tried before.  First, I designed my card to be a pocket card.  Secondly, the cat was created doing an iris fold – which was really fun.  And thirdly, the star in the upper left hand corner was a tea fold technique.
