Sew Many Cards Blog Hop

Welcome to Sew Many Cards New Releases Blog Hop. So glad you'll be hoppin' along with us. You will be seeing more than 20 new images that will be released into the store and also visiting 25 very talented Design Team member's blogs with their fabulous creations. Here is my card that I created using Cammi and Boy. Isn't he just adorable carrying a basket with Cammi and some pretty flowers. So, how would you like to win this image? All you need to do is leave me a comment. That's it! Once the blog hop is over I will choose a winner. You also will have a chance to win other images from the Design Team by leaving a comment on their blogs too.

Digital image: Cammi and Boy (Colored image with Prisma color pencils and OMS, cut image out and popped up with 3D foam squares).
Card Stock: Light/medium blues, black and kraft (TAC) and 3 prints (Basic Grey-Granola).
Die-Cuts: Nestabilities Labels 4.
Punches: MS Branch Punch.
Inks: Sakura Stardust (on branches, bow tie/patches on boy, flowers, Cammi's nose and patches on basket/Cammi's head) and Sakura Marine Star (buttons on vest).
Embellishments: Blue Prima flower (Nursery Tales), 4 orange half pearls, 4 blue medium fall brads, brown stitched grosgrain ribbon and Inkssentials Glossy Accents (used on shoes for shine).

My friend and I were recently discussing about how involved with technology our daily lives have become. Reading this post makes me think back to that debate we had, and just how inseparable from electronics we have all become.

I don't mean this in a bad way, of course! Ethical concerns aside... I just hope that as memory becomes cheaper, the possibility of downloading our brains onto a digital medium becomes a true reality. It's a fantasy that I daydream about every once in a while.
