Really Reasonable Ribbon’s Blog Hop and Cards For Men

RRRBlogHop[4] cardsformen

Welcome to Really Reasonable Ribbon’s blog hop showcasing some stunning and spectacular projects created by the awesome and talented Design Team.  The Design Team will be showing a variety of fun and unique ways to use different types of ribbon on all your projects.  No project is complete without ribbon!  Now if you have arrived from Robbie’s blog, you are in the correct spot.  If not, I would hate for you to miss anything so please start at Really Reasonable Ribbon’s blog.  You will be seeing some absolutely gorgeous ribbons, trims and embellishments that can be used on any project you may be creating.

For my card, I not only designed it for Really Reasonable Ribbon Blog Hop but also for Cards For Men.  Challenge #19 this week at Cards For Men is Transport and is sponsored by Peachy Keen Stamps.

I created this picture for my grandson, Aiden who just turned 4 years old.  I decoupage Mater and placed the image onto a road scene and then into a  5X7 black picture frame.  I used 1/4” Black w/white Stitches and 1/8” Yellow Satin Ribbons to create a road.  Then I used 3/8” Brown w/Tan Stitched Edge Grosgrain around the frame and added blue and brown buttons in the corners.  All 3 of these ribbons and buttons can be purchased from Really Reasonable Ribbon

Mater Image:  Mater (decoupage).

Sentiment:  Just Me Hugs sentiment from TLC.

Card Stock:  Black and tan (TAC), blue (Wausau Paper) and striped print (DCWV-All About Boys Stack).

Die-Cuts:  Nestabilities Circles/Scalloped Circles.

Punches:  MS Picket Fence Border punch.

Embossing Folders:  Cuttlebug Diamonds in the Rough Embossing Folder.

Embellishments:  5X7 Black Picture Frame, Inkssentials Glossy Accents (Mater’s eyes, teeth and one headlight), EK Success Shimmering Gold Dots, Blue & Brown Buttons (Such Sweet Tierney Buttons), 1/8” Yellow Satin ribbon, 1/4” Black w/White Stitches ribbon and 3/8” Brown w/Tan Stitched Edge Grosgrain ribbon.

Your next stop on the blog hop is Gini’s Blog.
