A Friend

A Friend

Since I enjoyed creating my last card using a sentiment as the focus point, I decided to create another card using one of Squigglefly’s sentiments.  I will also be entering this into Squigglefly’s challenge to “Only use a Squigglefly sentiment”.

Sentiment:  A Friend sentiment from Squigglefly.

Card Tutorial:  Lattice Edge tutorial by Holly at Squigglefly.

Card Stocks:  Brown, Tan and Green (TAC) and prints (DCWV-Amber Autumn).

Die-Cuts:  Nestabilities Labels 4.

Punches:  EK Success Small Daisy (center of burgundy flowers), EK Success Tiny, Small and Medium Flower (orange flowers), EK Success Retro Flower Power (blue rose), MS Cosmos (burgundy flowers), MS Branch and EK Success Rock Fern.

Inks:  Sakura Stardust pen (the words LOVES on sentiment) and Tea Dye Distress Ink (sponged edges of orange flowers and around sentiment).

Embellishments:  Yellow and Blue Rhinestones and Multi Dots Grosgrain ribbon.

Thanks so much for stopping by!  Hope everyone has a fabulous week!

Hugs, Kym

Another lovely card! I love the sponging around the sentiment, and I really like how the lattice edge looks at the top! Your placement of the blue gems is just perfect!
