Mud Pie Cupcake Shaker Cards

I truly apologize for my late posting for this week’s Craft Us Crazy Challenge.  For 2 weeks I’ve been dealing with Vertigo.  I thought at first I just had an ear infection.  I went to the doctor on Monday to find out I have Vertigo and may be dealing with this for possibly 3 months.  He said that I may have good days and bad days.  What a horrible feeling – having things spin in slow motion and then speed up.  Plus, thinking you’re not walking straight and dizzy all the time.

These shaker cards were created for my twin grandsons, Logan and Mitchell.  On Saturday they will be turning 2 years old.  I can’t believe they’re going to be 2 already.  Just seems like yesterday I was at the hospital waiting patience for them to be born so I could get my hands on them and give them lots of Nana kisses & hugs.

Recipe:

Digital Image:  Mud Pie Cupcake from Limited Runs Digi’s (Colored images with Prisma color pencils and OMS).

Sentiments:  Age 2 sentiment from Blue Bird Flats and Birthday sentiment from Crafty Sentiments (popped up sentiments with 3D Foam Squares).

Card Stocks:  Brown and Blue (TAC), prints (Colorbok-Earth Tones) and Acetate.

Die-Cuts:  Nestabilities Ovals/Scallop Ovals.

Punches:  Marvy 1.5” Circle punch.

Inks:  Antique Linen Distress Ink (Sponged around sentiments).

Embellishments:  Crystal Snow Ultra Fine Glitter (on cupcakes), Glossy Accents (windows on dump trucks), Blue Seed Beads, 3/8” Blue w/Brown Edges Grosgrain ribbon (Really Reasonable Ribbon) and Brown/Blue Square Print Sheer Organza ribbon (Really Reasonable Ribbon).
