Happy Birthday

My daughter-in-law, Mercedes has asked me to make 2 cards for her mom, a Happy Birthday and a Thank You card. So, I have made a birthday card first and used the layout from StampTV's Sketch Challenge - STVSC25. The flowers are from Gina K Designs - Electric Summer - I colored them with Prismas and OMS and then were cut out so I could bend the petals up. I stamped the butterflies (from Warm Wishes - TAC) on yellow card stock and the leaves (Nothing is Better - TAC) on lime green card stock and cut them out individually. The trellis was made using Cuttlebug Floral Borders Die-Cuts on tan card stock and glued onto medium peach card stock. The border and corner were made using Fiskars Sunburst Border punch on light peach card stock. I sewed the flowers on using 3 tan buttons, that were from my grandma's jar of buttons, with dark peach DMC embroidery floss. Glued the leaves around the flowers and positioned the butterflies with 3D foam squares. I embellished the card with yellow and brown rhinestones (on the butterflies, in the corner and on the sentiment tag) and a lime green floral silk ribbon bow. The words Happy Birthday is from a set called Everyday Expressions by TAC. The card stock used is from TAC also.
