Exciting and Emotional Day

Today has been a very exciting and emotional day. Since my son, Travis has come home to spend Christmas with us for 13 days I have been on an emotional rollercoaster. He is a US Marine stationed in California. He will be deploying for Afghanistan somewhere around February 1st. Each day I am trying to hold all my emotions inside and spend every moment I can with him before he leaves. I do not want him to see I'm a blubbering mess. Just want to savior the memories until the next time he comes home.

But, from this so much exciting news has happened to me today. First, I won a fabulous blog candy from Sew Many Cards (shown above). Thank you so much, Angela! Secondly, I won at Midnight Madness Christmas Blog Hop. Each designer had a drawing where they would send their featured card and ornament project. Carol from http://chocolatecraftsandbearsohmy.blogspot.com/ picked my name. She is not only a fabulous creative and talented person with her creations but also a wonderful person I call my friend. She choked me up with her words thanking my son for his service to our country but they were from the bottom of her heart and I thank her for that. Thank you so much, Carol! Lastly, Tracey Malnoski from The Stamping Boutique has asked me to be on her 2010 Design Team. I am truly humbled and honored to join her fabulous design team family. I am excited and cannot wait to start designing projects for her.
I thank everyone for all this wonderful news and for others who are my friends and have been supporting me. I hope each and everyone of you have a wonderful and joyful holiday season and a blessed New Year! I am truly blessed with all the wonderful people surrounding me. Thank you again!
