Winter Girl Easel Drawer Card

Winter Girl Easel Drawer Card2

Winter Girl Easel Drawer Card1Winter Girl Easel Drawer Card

This week I used 2 templates from The Cutting Cafe to create my Easel Drawer Card.  The first template I used is the Frame Shaped Card that I created into an easel card.  I then used the month January from the 2011 Calendar Set to show the birth date that this card is intended for.  What a fun way to personalize that special someone’s birthday by printing out the month and highlighting the date.

This week at For Fun Challenges there is a color challenge - “Black, Olive and Purple”.  What a fun challenge using these fabulous colors together.  The challenge runs from Wednesday, January 12th thru Tuesday, January 18th.  Hope you’ll be able to join us this week.

Supplies Used:

Digital Image:  Winter Girl from Inger Harding (Colored image with Prisma color pencils and OMS).

Sentiment:  Make a Wish – May all your wishes come true from Crafty Sentiments (Birthday Circles).

Templates:  Frame Shaped Card and 2011 Calendar Set from The Cutting Cafe and Drawer template From My Craft Room.

Card Stocks:  Black, Ivy and Violet (TAC), Black Glitter (Basic Occasions) and prints (My Mind’s Eye – Deena’s Penny Lane).

Die-Cuts:  Nestabilities Circles/Scallop Circles.

Punches:  MS Snowflake punch, EK Success Small Daisy punch and Marvy Rounded Corner punch.

Inks:  Sakura Stardust Gelly Pen (girl’s lips, bows in hair, hearts on mittens, pom poms and snowflakes).

Embellishments:  Silver Jump Rings, Silver Snowflake Charm, Black Rhinestones, Crystal Snow Ultra Fine Glitter (snow), Inkssentials Glossy Accents (eyes and lips), 3/8” Lavender Multi Gingham ribbon and 5/8” Purple Glitz ribbon.
