I created this card for a co-worker my Dad works with. He asked me to attend the funeral with him. So, I wanted to created something peaceful and calming using the colors blue and yellow combination.
RECIPE:
Stamps: “Tilda w/Butterfly Dress from Magnolia (Colored image with Prisma color pencils and OMS) and Floral stamp from TAC.
Digital Sentiments: “Deepest Sympathy” from TLC and verse from Nana Vic – With Sympathy Word Art set.
Card Stocks: Ivory, Lily Pond and Ivy (TAC), Yellow (Colorbok – Soft Pastels) and Prints (Colorbok).
Die-Cuts: Nestabilities Labels 4 and Sizzix Architectural Accent #1 (corner).
Punches: McGill 1 1/4” Circle, Marvy 1 1/2” Scallop Circle, MS Branch and Punch Bunch Medium Fern.
Inks: Scattered Straw Distress Ink.
Tools: Sewing Machine and Ivory Thread.
Embellishments: Yellow Pearls, 4mm Yellow and Blue Rose Buds, 10mm Yellow and Blue Roses, 15mm Blue Roses and 20mm Yellow Roses (all from Wild Orchids Crafts), 3/16” Light Blue Eyelet Ribbon, Pale Yellow Lace (Wild Orchids Crafts) and Stickles Star Dust.

This is beautiful and so touching. I love the verse in the middle - it is often so hard to find the right words for a sympathy card.
Love Tilda and you colored her just beautiful with her rosie cheeks.. Love your colors, lace and your stunning flowers. Your wonderful sewing and the Pearl Pen. I do think they way you finish off the inside of these cards is so outstanding and I love the sentiment and the lace and ribbon you put inside, it really dresses the card up and it ties everything up and finishes your stunning card.
